He chairs and facilitates HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, SIL and Bow-Tie studies - covering revalidations, pre-FEED, post-FEED, batch-process, procedural and CHAZOP studies - for operators including BPCL, IOCL, Adnoc, RIL, OIL India and Guardian Glass in Saudi Arabia, working independently and through assignments for TIC firms including TÜV SÜD, Dekra, Bureau Veritas and TÜV Nord. His wider process-safety work covers PSM implementation, QRA, incident investigation (he states more than 150 investigations), management-of-change reviews, safety audits, pre-commissioning/commissioning support, and process-safety training and mentoring. He holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University and an MS in Chemical Engineering from IIT Madras.
